Hartsheath is a Grade II* 18th and 19th-century country house, set in a 19th-century landscape park.

The Drawing Room has trompe l’oeil decoration with pineapple motifs. The house also contains a unique collection of Welsh watercolours and works by the “Jewish Holbein” Isidor Kaufmann, as well as interesting collection of furniture and porcelain.

There is a six-acre garden for visitors to explore.

Hartsheath is a Grade II* listed 18th and 19th-century country house located in Mold, Flintshire. The house features a Drawing Room with trompe l’oeil decoration and pineapple motifs, a unique collection of Welsh watercolours, works by Isidor Kaufmann, and an interesting collection of furniture and porcelain. Visitors can also explore a six-acre garden.

Opening Times

Hartsheath is open on selected dates in May, August, and September. Visits must be pre-booked in advance by emailing Miranda Dechazal at [email protected] or calling 01352-770204. Private tours are also available; see the Tours tab for more information.

Hartsheath is located on the A541 between Wrexham and Mold. At the junction of the A5104 and A541, take the A541 direction Wrexham, and after approximately 400 yards, turn left at the Lodge and proceed up the drive.
