A Grade I-listed Victorian house in the heart of the Brecon Beacons National Park, set in 10 acres of stunning gardens and woodlands with views across Llangorse lake to the Black Mountains.

Designed by the respected architect John Loughborough Pearson, the house has striking features of its period – from gargoyles and stained-glass windows to a billiards room and secret passageway.

Occupied by the Raikes family since it was built in 1852, the house can accommodate up to 17 people, with a further two self catering properties on the estate. It can be hired exclusively for an event or celebration, and we offer a variety of wedding packages.

Located in an International Dark Sky Reserve, Treberfydd enjoys incredible starry night skies and access to outstanding hill walking.

The house and gardens are open for four weeks of the year, with tours twice daily.

Admission

Tour of the house and access to the gardens: £6

Children under 14: free

Gardens only: £3.75

Tea available in the conservatory.
