Opening Times and Visitor Information for Sandringham Estate
Sandringham Estate, the cherished country retreat of Their Majesties King Charles III and Queen Camilla, offers a variety of attractions and events for visitors. Below is a detailed summary of the opening times and conditions for visiting the estate:
General Opening Times
- The House, Gardens, and St Mary Magdalene Church are open from March to October each year.
- The Royal Parkland, including the Children’s Play Area and the shopping and catering facilities in the Courtyard, is open all year round.
Specific Attractions and Events
- Sandringham House and Gardens: Open from 28th March to 9th October, except for closures between 19th–28th July and 20th–23rd August. Tickets are required for entry.
- Gardens Only: Open on selected dates in February and March. Tickets are required for entry.
- Afternoon Tea: Available every Friday and Saturday with sittings at 2 PM. Booking is required.
- Sunday Lunch: Available every Sunday at the Sandringham Restaurant.

Due to the growing popularity of Sandringham we have found it necessary that will only accept coaches and groups that have been pre-booked in advance.
Groups are 20 or more people.
