Powderham Castle is a magical location for your wedding – a stately home for your special day.

Seated alongside the Exe Estuary and nestled in 3500 rolling acres of the Powderham Estate, Powderham is the quintessence of romantic exclusivity.  The Castle and its grounds offer a unique variety of locations for the ceremony and reception of your choice – from grand state rooms, to magical gardens and gladed woodland pavilions.  Our experienced team will be on hand throughout the planning process and your special day.

The Castle is licensed for ceremonies and receptions and can accomodate up to 120 for a seated dinner. Larger receptions can take place at any of our marquee locations all of which have wonderful views over the estate. For those with a more whimsical taste, ceremonies as well as receptions can be hosted in the wonderful Woodland Gardens.
