Set in extensive landscaped grounds near Dunkeld in Highland Perthshire, Murthly Estate is an award-winning venue comprising Murthly Castle, the Chapel of St. Anthony the Eremite, the Walled Garden and the Douglas fir wood.

Why Murthly stands out from the rest

Rarity Value – We host only a small number of weddings, to make sure we give you our full attention and keep Murthly special.

Always Exclusive – Murthly Castle is a private home, so the venue is exclusively yours, not only on your wedding day, but also during the set-up period. You’re our sole focus.

It’s Personal – With a single point of contact, you’ll always know who you’re talking to, and we’ll always be up to speed on your plans. We’ll also help you prepare for the big day and ensure it runs smoothly.

We’ve Got Your Setting – Ceremonies can take place in the Chapel, the Castle, the Walled Garden or the Douglas fir wood. We have hosted Christian, humanist, hand-fasting and civil ceremonies.

You’re in Control – We’ll share our extensive experience of local caterers, marquee providers, florists and other suppliers, but the final choice is always yours. We’re here to help, not to tell you what to do.

Award-Winning – In 2023 we were the winners of the Hitched Wedding Awards. In 2022, we received a Gold Award certificate from Best of Bridebook Awards for providing couples with excellent service.
