The private and exclusive atmosphere of Hampden House offers the perfect location for a civil ceremony amongst family and friends. For a Church wedding, the beautiful 13th Century Parish Church of St Mary Magdalene epitomises the traditional wedding, and is conveniently located along the Hampden House drive.
Civil ceremonies traditionally take place within the Great Hall featuring carved wooden walls and medieval timbered high ceilings.
The beautifully renovated Dining Room with chandeliers, ornate mirrors and carved fireplaces offers the perfect backdrop for a wedding breakfast overlooking the gardens and can also accommodate smaller civil ceremonies for up to 60 guests.
Evening celebrations after the wedding breakfast continue with dancing in the Georgian Wing with full bar facilities provided.
For the ultimate mix of a lawn wedding with Hampden House as the backdrop, marquee weddings are welcomed within our picturesque gardens for up to 250 people between April and September.
