Most of the garden is accessible by wheelchair along wide gravel paths except for The Walled Garden which has a step and deeper gravel. There is a disabled WC at Falconhurst Farm Shop.
The gardens at Falconhurst have been lovingly tended by five generations of Talbots.
The garden is surrounded by our organic farm and great care is taken to manage the garden in a sustainable and ecological way. Wild flowers and areas of long grass contrast wide herbaceous borders and emphasise the location of Falconhurst sitting happily in deep countryside yet only an hour’s car ride from London.
Areas of the garden have been set aside for creating cut flower beds and a market garden area growing vegetables for the Farm Shop. All open to visitors.
Pre-arranged groups to Falconhurst Gardens are welcomed. Please enquire via the house website. The owner will happily give a short talk on the history of the house and gardens. Refreshments can be arranged either at the house for larger groups, or the Farm Shop.
Paths have been created around the woodland areas of the garden, seats and a bird hide are to be found around the pond to observe the wild life as well as a high swing for the children and child-like visitor.
Stone at Falconhurst, a sculpture show in the garden, runs during July. Entry free to Historic Houses visitors.

Falconhurst Estate, located in the High Weald of Kent, offers a variety of attractions, events, and workshops throughout the year. Below is a detailed summary of the opening times and events:
General Opening Times
The Farm Shop is open Monday to Friday from 9am to 4pm, and on Saturdays from 9am to 3pm. It is closed on Sundays and Bank Holidays, except for specific events. The Gardens are open from 28th March to 31st October 2026 during Farm Shop hours, but are closed on Sundays, Bank Holidays, and occasionally on Saturdays for weddings.
Gardens
Entry to the gardens costs £8.50 per adult, with season tickets available for £25 (single) or £40 (family). Visitors can enjoy short and long woodland walks, with maps provided at the Farm Shop.

The Farm Shop offers a wide range of local produce, including fresh bread, vegetables, cheese, and more. Visitors can also enjoy street food events and brunch clubs throughout the year.
Tickets to Falconhurst Gardens are available from Falconhurst Farm Shop during shop opening hours. Please pull into the Shop to sign in and collect your map before following signs to House Parking. During busy periods we may ask you to leave your car at the House.

For trains: There are regular trains from London Bridge to Cowden Station which is a 20 minute walk through the woods: turn right out of station, under the bridge, turn right along public footpath and continue to Falconhurst Gardens.
Cars: Postcode TN8 5NR takes you to Falconhurst.
Day visitors should collect tickets from Falconhurst Farm Shop before entry.
