Opening Times

Gardens and Woodland Walks

Falconhurst Gardens is open from 28th March to 31st October 2026. During this period, opening hours follow the Farm Shop schedule:

  • Monday to Friday: 9am–4pm
  • Saturday: 9am–3pm
  • Bank Holidays: 10am–3pm
  • Sundays: Closed

The gardens are closed on occasional Saturdays when weddings are hosted. Please check the website before visiting to confirm availability.

The gardens are closed during the winter months from 17th November to 28th March.

Woodland Walks and Nature Trail

Both the Short and Longer Woodland Walks, as well as the Nature Trail and Animals area, are accessible during the same opening hours as the gardens (28th March to 31st October 2026).

Special Events

Easter Egg Hunt

Running from 28th March to 18th April during regular garden opening hours.

National Garden Scheme Open Day

The gardens will be open on Bank Holiday Monday, 25th May, from 11am–4pm as part of the National Garden Scheme. Teas will be served in the garden, with proceeds going to Holy Trinity Markbeech Church.

Admission

Tickets to Falconhurst Gardens are available from Falconhurst Farm Shop during shop opening hours. Please pull into the Shop to sign in and collect your map before following signs to House Parking. During busy periods we may ask you to leave your car at the House.

£8.50 or free to Historic Houses members on presentation of Membership card. There is no need to book on line.

Group Visits

Pre-arranged groups to Falconhurst Gardens are welcomed. Please enquire via the house website. The owner will happily give a short talk on the history of the house and gardens. Refreshments can be arranged either at the house for larger groups, or the Farm Shop.

Educational Visits

Educational visits welcomed to show the benefits of organic market gardening together with organic dairy farm. Pre-booking required via website.
