The house is located near Lanark but on South bank of river Clyde, two miles upstream from Kirkfieldbank village.  By public transport, train to Lanark and then a taxi from outside the station.

The post code is ML11 9TQ. It is best, when driving, to approach via Corehouse Drive. Pass council houses on right, then Corehouse farm on left. At lone cottage (West Lodge), turn right through gateway immediately beyond lodge. We are at the bottom of the road, with parking in front of house (leave park on your right).
