Weddings
Bickleigh Castle provides several wedding packages, including midweek, weekend, and special offers. The castle is available for exclusive use, and ceremonies can be held in the Great Hall, the gardens, or the 6th-century chapel. Packages include catering options, accommodation for up to 40 guests, and additional services such as DJs and toastmasters. Prices and specific inclusions vary by package.
Bed and Breakfast
The castle offers luxurious bed and breakfast accommodations year-round in traditional thatched cottages. Guests can enjoy modern amenities, comfortable rooms, and a full English breakfast served in the Orangery. The location is ideal for exploring the Devon countryside and nearby attractions.
House Parties
Bickleigh Castle is available for private group bookings, accommodating 20 to 40 guests. Options include self-catered, part-catered, or fully-catered stays. Activities such as archery, kayaking, and clay pigeon shooting can be arranged. The estate features extensive grounds, a Jacuzzi, and a tennis court.
Guided Tours and Open Gardens
The castle and gardens are open for tours from April 2, 2026, to October 29, 2026, every Thursday from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Cream teas are available from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, and guided tours start at 2:30 PM. Prices are £4 per adult for garden walks and £9 per adult for the full guided tour. Private group bookings for 20 or more are available on Tuesdays by prior arrangement.

Throughout the Covid pandemic, we have held self-guided tours, providing our visitors with guide booklets. These tours have taken place on staggered time allocations. In 2022 we hope it will be possible to offer guided tours once again; if so, these will normally take place at 2:30 pm and last c. 1hr 15mins.
