Stonor Park is stepping on the gas with the return of its VW Car Rally
A dazzling array of Volkswagens of all shapes, sizes and vintage classics are set to take over the stunning grounds of Stonor Park during a must-visit event for car enthusiasts and families alike.
The VW Car Rally, a regular amongst Stonor Park’s vibrant events programme for over 30 years, is returning to the estate on Sunday 31st May in a celebration of all things Volkswagen.
Louisa Fifield, general manager at Stonor Park said: “Our VW Rally is a highlight of our summer calendar and an amazing way to mark the end of the May half term. You don’t need to be a huge car enthusiast to enjoy all that the event has to offer; it’s a great value-for-money day out for the whole family full of vibrant colours, both classic and quirky motors accompanied by great food and drink, within the striking setting of Stonor Park.”
Situated on the Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire border, Stonor Park’s VW Car Rally has a relaxed festival vibe, featuring street food vendors and atmospheric live music as it brings together an array of Volkswagens and their passionate owners.
After browsing the impressive collection of VW vehicles on display, Stonor has plenty more to offer for everyone to make it a packed day out, from the stunning gardens and woodland adventure playground, Tumblestone Hollow, to the unique Stonor House and its fascinating stories.
Louisa added: “We can’t wait to welcome Volkswagens of all ages, including charming Beetles, iconic Campervans and rare classics.
“There’s also ample space for leisurely strolls, family picnics, and the chance to relax in the beautiful Stonor grounds. This fun and family-friendly day out filled with community spirit really has something for everyone.”
Tickets to the VW Car Rally on Sunday 31st May are £12 for adults in advance online, £14 on the day. Children under 16 go free and tickets for Tumblestone Hollow for kids attending the rally are £12.50, with accompanying adults free of charge on showing their VW wristband.
Tickets to the Stonor House and Gardens can be purchased on the day at a reduced rate of £5 from the Visitors Centre by showing VW wristbands
