New winter light trail to light up Hull & East Yorkshire

A major new festive attraction is coming to Hull & East Yorkshire this Christmas as Burton Constable launches Winterlight: The Tudor Glow, its first-ever illuminated winter trail.

Running from 3–23 December 2026, the brand-new experience will transform Burton Constable’s historic parkland into an immersive after-dark trail inspired by the grandeur, colour and craftsmanship of the Tudor age, creating a spectacular new winter experience for visitors to Hull & East Yorkshire.

Visitors will follow a beautifully illuminated route through the parkland, where light, colour and projection combine to create an unforgettable winter evening. Drawing inspiration from Burton Constable’s Tudor and Elizabethan heritage, Winterlight: The Tudor Glow has been designed exclusively for the Hall, celebrating its rich history in an entirely new way.

The launch marks an exciting addition to the region’s festive calendar, giving local residents and visitors alike a spectacular new Christmas experience closer to home.

Visitors can also enjoy a range of festive food and warming drinks, including hot chocolate, mulled wine, mince pies and other seasonal favourites, making Winterlight the perfect festive evening out for families, couples and friends.

Winterlight: The Tudor Glow runs from 3–23 December, with timed entry from 4pm each evening. Tickets are on sale now, with visitors encouraged to book early to secure their preferred date.
