Accessibility

Winster Hall is a Grade II* listed house, built in the early eighteenth century, and retains much of its historic character and fabric. As a result, access is necessarily constrained.

The gardens are partly accessible, with some relatively level areas; however, visitors should be aware that surfaces include stone cobbles, gravel and changes in level, and there are steps in a number of locations.

Access for wheelchair users and those with limited mobility is therefore restricted, and may be difficult in parts of both the house and grounds.

We recommend that visitors with specific access requirements contact us in advance so that we can advise on the most suitable areas to visit and make appropriate arrangements where possible.
