Just over four hundred years after it was built, the Tithe Barn at Whittington Court hosted its first wedding in July 2021.
The barn itself remains virtually unchanged – except for a new roof – to the building that was conceived in the early 1600s. It is open to the four winds with a stone threshing floor and doves in the rafters. But it is also the most beautiful, vast and atmospheric space and for those with vision, who want to do things their own way, it is the perfect ‘blank canvas’ on which to start designing a really spectacular day.
