The King’s Room | £185-200 per night
All Cornish houses have a room where it is claimed that King Charles I slept – and this is the one at Trelowarren. This bright, room has a large comfortable four-poster bed and glorious views of the east lawn.
The dressing room has been converted into an ensuite bathroom with a walk in shower and bath.
The Bluebird Room | £185-200 per night
Facing West over the Chapel and the magnolia tree is the sunny Bluebird Room. An exceptionally large and very comfortable bedroom with its own separate bathroom.
This is the bedroom from a suite of rooms re-designed for the visit of Queen Victoria in the mid 19th Century. The windows remain as they were before the redesign. The drive to Tremayne Quay, the boathouse, and Tremayne Quay, were also built for the visit. Unfortunately, the weather was too rough for the Queen to land and in the late 20th Century the rooms fell into disrepair.
The Bluebird Room has been carefully restored over the last two years.

Getting here
Trelowarren, Mawgan, Helston, Cornwall TR12 6AF
Please be aware when using the postcode some SatNavs will take you to the wrong entrance. The main entrance, Double Lodges, is on the B3293. Detailed directions below.
Directions from Helston:
From Helston take the A3083 towards Culdrose and The Lizard. Just past Culdrose, turn left at the mini roundabout onto the B3293 to Goonhilly/St Keverne. At the top of the hill (Mawgan Cross roundabout) take the third exit (do NOT go into Mawgan village) drive past Garras Primary School and keep going straight on for one mile to double lodges. Turn left where you see the large Trelowarren sign. Be very careful between the cattle grids as we have wild ponies grazing. Beware of the speed bumps. Do not follow your sat nav as it usually takes you around to Mawgan and not to our entrance drive.
