Nestled in the heart of Shakespeare’s country, we are at the top of the list of treasured courtyard medieval buildings in England. Packed full of history and atmosphere, we offer a unique and beautiful authentic Tudor venue, with wonderful gardens, medieval Great Halls and a Galleried Courtyard. Our half-timbered honey coloured buildings create an atmosphere of intimacy within a backdrop of extraordinary history.

With exclusive use of the entire site, the wedding ceremony can be held in one of our medieval half-timbered Halls, with seating up to 70 in the Guildhall and 100 in the Great Hall. Pre-reception drinks in the medieval Courtyard beneath Galleried balconies is an especially memorable and special experience!

We invite you to hold your wedding breakfast in the medieval Great Hall where a banquet was held for King James I in 1614. We currently work with a select choice of preferred and reasonably priced catering suppliers and would be happy to recommend them to you.
