We can host a range of events from medieval banquets and private parties to celebrations of life, corporate events and weddings. For more information, please visit our website to view each of our event spaces available to hire.
Filming
As one of Europe’s most important half-timbered authentic medieval buildings, our site has a distinctive and unique backdrop for filming.
The Lord Leycester has a history of filming and television credits going back to the 1960’s, with credits including: Pride and Prejudice, BBC’s Shakespeare and Hathaway: Private Investigators, Doctor Who and recently BBC’s A Christmas Carol.
We welcome most film location work at the Lord Leycester so please contact us if you are interested in discussing your requirements. January and February are particularly good months to film as we are closed to the public during these months and can offer more favourable rates.
