Ensuring that everyone can access and enjoy The Hall is a top priority for us. Here’s what we offer to make sure our space is accessible to everyone:
Wheelchair Accessibility: The Hall is 400 years old and has one staircase, there is no lift and the upper floors are unsuitable for wheelchair users. Please be aware that there are four steps to access the downstairs rooms, and 33 steps via a wooden staircase to the upstairs rooms.
Walkways: Due to the nature of our grounds, some of our walkways, paths and terraces may be difficult to reach or may involve steps and uneven terrain. Alternative routes and paths are provided.
Accessible Parking: Guests staying at The Hall are allocated a dedicated space for their stay located immediately at the main house. Blue badge holders are provided with parking upon request for public events and tours. General parking is restricted due to the nature of the grounds.
Toilets: There is one toilet in the main house for guests and visitors to The Hall. Toilets including disabled and baby changing are situated in the grounds for public events and visitors to the grounds.
Assistance Animals Welcome: Service animals are welcome at our venue.
Carer Tickets: Guests with accessible needs are entitled to a free carer ticket for one personal carer who accompanies any disabled guest. Please note that you must purchase at least 1 full-priced ticket to be able to qualify for a free carer ticket.
The Hall boasts three newly refurbished spectacular bedrooms across three floors, each unique and self-contained room telling the story of the distinguished and illustrious figures who once resided.
The Hall has been a local landmark for generations, and now, through extensive restoration ensuring that its traditional character has been faithfully preserved, the manor and its surrounding grounds provide a luxurious guest experience for those seeking timeless luxury and an idyllic country retreat set within a Grade I-listed Jacobean mansion.
