Ensuring that everyone can access and enjoy The Hall is a top priority for us. Here’s what we offer to make sure our space is accessible to everyone:

Wheelchair Accessibility: The Hall is 400 years old and has one staircase, there is no lift and the upper floors are unsuitable for wheelchair users. Please be aware that there are four steps to access the downstairs rooms, and 33 steps via a wooden staircase to the upstairs rooms.

Walkways: Due to the nature of our grounds, some of our walkways, paths and terraces may be difficult to reach or may involve steps and uneven terrain. Alternative routes and paths are provided.

Accessible Parking: Guests staying at The Hall are allocated a dedicated space for their stay located immediately at the main house. Blue badge holders are provided with parking upon request for public events and tours. General parking is restricted due to the nature of the grounds.

Toilets: There is one toilet in the main house for guests and visitors to The Hall. Toilets including disabled and baby changing are situated in the grounds for public events and visitors to the grounds.

Assistance Animals Welcome: Service animals are welcome at our venue.

Carer Tickets: Guests with accessible needs are entitled to a free carer ticket for one personal carer who accompanies any disabled guest. Please note that you must purchase at least 1 full-priced ticket to be able to qualify for a free carer ticket.

Guided Tours of The Hall Estate

The Hall Estate offers guided tours of the house and grounds throughout the year. All tours are approximately 1.5 hours in duration and include access to The Alice Room – A Hidden Art Collection, which opens for the first time in 2026.

Standard Guided Tours

Guided tours of The Hall Estate and its grounds are available on 18 and 19 September. Three time slots are offered each day:

  • 11:00–12:30
  • 13:00–14:30
  • 15:00–16:30

A member-specific booking option is also available for the 15:00–16:30 slot.

Christmas Guided Tours

Special Christmas-themed guided tours run throughout November and December on the following dates:

  • 13, 14, 20, 21, 27, 28 November
  • 4, 5, 11, 12 December

Three time slots are available each day:

  • 11:00–12:30
  • 13:00–14:30
  • 15:00–16:30

Georgian Life Walking Tour

A guided walking tour exploring Georgian life in Bradford on Avon is available on the following dates:

  • Thursday 17 September
  • Friday 18 September
  • Wednesday 21 October
  • Wednesday 28 October

Two time slots are offered:

  • 11:00–13:00
  • 14:15–16:15

Tours last approximately 1.5 to 2 hours and start promptly. Late arrivals may not be able to join. Tours operate in all weather conditions.

The Alice Room

The Alice Room – A Hidden Art Collection opens for the first time in 2026. It is accessible to all visitors as part of both the standard and Christmas guided tours of The Hall Estate.
