Stansted Park is home to stunning weddings, forest walks, afternoon teas and some of the best events in the south! Visit the Mansion with its State rooms and fully furnished Servants’ Quarters for a real sense of a bygone era.

The Grounds and Walled Gardens are open all year, this includes the Arboretum, The Pavilion Tearoom, The Stansted Park Garden Centre, The Stansted Park Farm Shop and The Maze & Railway.

Stansted Forest provides many routes for walkers and cyclists and is enjoyed by thousands of visitors each year. The estate is carefully managed to conserve wildlife habitats which means Stansted is home to a variety of unusual birds, plants and insects.

Sundays to Tuesdays. 1pm – 5pm (last admission 4pm).

Please check our website before you visit, as we will be closed for private functions and events on select days through the season.

Group Visits

We welcome visits by pre-booked groups of all ages and abilities to Stansted Park.

There are two types of group visit:

Guided tours

Maximum group size 50. By appointment only, throughout the year Monday- Friday from 10am-4pm. This option is not available during House Opening on Monday and Tuesday afternoons from April – September.
£15 Per Person which includes a complimentary guidebook.

Add refreshments in the House as part of your tour for £4 per person

 

Free-flow group visits 

By appointment, available only during regular House Opening on Monday and Tuesday afternoons between 1pm and 4pm
£10 per person.

Disabled access is available by way of a platform lift and cage lift, unfortunately we are unable to accommodate motorised wheelchairs and mobility scooters .

Rowlands Castle train station is located 2 miles from Stansted Park and Havant Station 4 miles.
