Hire Sennowe Park

Sennowe Park has been the setting for concerts given by The Pretenders, Jools Holland and also The Rat Pack. On these occasions some 5000 visitors were accommodated with comfort. The Park slopes steadily down towards the Lake making it easy for all visitors to see the performers and enjoy the scene to the full.

As the visitor enters through the grand front gates, and then approaches along the mile or so of formal drive, he knows that he is in for something special. Set upon a knoll the spectacular house emerges arrestingly through the trees. With its broad Italianate garden terraces overlooking rolling parkland which sweeps down to the Lake, Sennowe Park offers the perfect romantic venue. It combines the formality of a stately home with the friendly intimacy of a family country house. Filming at Sennowe Park

Sennowe Park offers a wide variety of opportunities for the Film, TV and Advertising industries. The list of possible locations is endless. The house is rich with intricate and original detail which has been painstakingly preserved through the generations. The exquisite 70ft Winter Garden, built originally as a ballroom with its fine marble floor and columned fountain, and the striking 42ft Long Room can both be used quite simply as large capacity studios. The Garden and Park can offer gracious and varied settings including the Boathouse at the edge of the lake, the 120ft high Water Tower with working belfry and the Walled Garden with a faded greenhouse the entire length of one side. There are particularly fine and magnificent Stables, as carriages were a great passion of T.A. Cook.

We are experienced in the demands of a busy crew having had filming here for Agatha Christie’s Hercule Poirot, Tales of the Unexpected, My Talks with Dean Spanley for Miramax films starring Peter O’Toole and Silver River’s reality series The Diets that Time Forgot, filmed for Channel 4 over a period of six weeks, and which was hosted by Sir Roy Strong.
