Rode Hall is a beautiful early eighteenth century country house with a fine collection of porcelain and extensive gardens set in a Repton landscape.
Home to the Wilbraham family since 1669, the extensive grounds boast a woodland garden, formal garden designed by Nesfield in 1860, a stunning two acre walled kitchen garden, which provides produce for the farmers’ market and tearooms and a new Italian garden.

Welcome to Rode Hall, a historic estate offering a variety of attractions and events throughout the year. Below is a detailed summary of the opening times and conditions for visiting the estate and its events:
Snowdrop Walk
Dates: 1 February - 1 March
Days: Thursday to Sunday
Times: 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Tickets can be purchased online or at the gate. Please note that RHS and Historic Houses cards are not valid for this event. The walk is not suitable for wheelchairs but can be negotiated with a mobility scooter.

Days: Wednesdays and Bank Holiday Mondays

Guided tours of the house are available at 12:00 PM, 1:00 PM, and 2:00 PM. Tickets can be booked online or upon entry. RHS members have free entry to the gardens only, and Historic Houses members have free entry to both the house and gardens, except during special events.

The nearest train stations are in Alsager and Kidsgrove which are a short taxi ride away.
