Riverhill is not suitable for motorised scooters.

Although our paths around the Walled Garden and Rock Garden are smoother and more even. The initial gravel and slope means that our overall recommendation is to not use wheelchairs unless someone has checked the suitability beforehand for your particular needs/equipment.

The shop, cafe and cafe terrace are accessible by wheelchair (However, please be aware that the entrance and disabled parking area is gravelled)

We have accessible parking by the house.

We have an accessible toilet situated next to the Cafe.

There is no charge for wheelchair users or essential companions.

Riverhill House is a family owned Queen Anne country house, situated in the heart of the Weald of Kent, with extensive Park land, beautiful Gardens, views, elegant reception rooms and a small, friendly team.

In more detail…

The Garden are available for short notice exclusive use on a Monday or Tuesday when we are closed to the general public. The House is never open to the public so exclusive use can be arranged for anytime. The Gardens are open to the public Wednesday – Sunday during March – October. We can offer exclusive use November through to March. Please contact us to discuss requirements and we will be as accommodating as we possibly can be.

We have a range of stunning and historic backdrops for filming, editorial, photoshoots and music videos. These include our stately home, extensive grounds and parkland. As well as some more unusual areas, such as our derelict glass houses and tunnels, original basement and Gardener’s Room.

2 miles south of Sevenoaks on the A225.

Sevenoaks station is the nearest train station. There is a bus stop a short walk from the end of the drive.
