The extensive gardens at Monteviot are all uniquely different with creative designs and plants intended to engage and excite all visitors. Often termed a gardener’s paradise, the spectacular well-marked route includes a rose garden, herb garden, a water garden of islands linked by bridges, the Garden of Persistent Imagination and a heritage arboretum. There are also incredible views over the River Teviot to enjoy with a picnic. Visitors in July can take advantage of the Monteviot House open days and enjoy tours provided by knowledgeable guides.
Due to Monteviot House being used as a family home, it is open to the public during the month of July only.
Important information: opening info is generated by artificial intelligence; check specific attraction details before travelling.
