The grounds of Moignes Court include a moat, the remains of ancient fishponds and the earthworks of a medieval village.

Two rooms in the house are open to the public: the first floor court room and ground floor old kitchen. A tour explaining the history of the grounds and house will be conducted by Ralph Cree at 12pm on the days open to the public

The grounds of Moignes Court, the court room and old kitchen are open to the public between 9am and 1pm on the following dates in 2024:

Monday 1st April: Easter Egg Hunt Open Day

Wednesday 1st – 27th May

Monday 6th May: Bluebell Walk Open Day

 

A tour will be conducted by Ralph Cree at 12pm on each of these days

Entrance fee is £5 per person

The postcode DT2 8HY gets you to the end of our private drive. Follow the drive past Court Cottage up to Moignes Court and park in the courtyard behind.

The nearest train station is Moreton (Dorset) which is a 5 minute drive away or 45 minute walk. It is on the London Waterloo to Weymouth SouthWest train line.
