Gardens
The gardens surrounding the medieval moated manor offer a tranquil and magical landscape, with a wide variety of plants, trees, and shrubs set among wild meadows and lakes. Roses, particularly classic varieties, feature throughout, while unusual trees and shrubs add character and charm.
A boardwalk leads through a meadow to the countryside and a wheelchair-accessible bird hide. Wildflowers flourish around the lakes and the ruined church, creating vibrant habitats that support local wildlife. Dogs on leads are welcome.
Garden visits are free for Historic Houses members.
