Leighton Hall is located in North Lancashire, it is nestled in a bowl of parkland, against a backdrop of the Lake District hills.

The ancestral home of the world-renowned Gillow furniture family, Leighton Hall is still lived in today and is no stuffy museum – there aren’t any roped off areas here!

Visitors are invited to sit on the furniture, touch things, relax and explore. Families and children are always welcome as there is plenty for them to do – tree face trail, caterpillar maze, woodland walk and outdoor play area.

There is a treat for everyone in our traditional tea room – tea is served in proper tea cups with a variety of home-made cakes and treats to choose from.
