Kirtlington Park is a Grade I, 18th-century Palladian mansion, built for Sir James Dashwood. The imposing house has fine gardens and is set in 3,000 acres of parkland designed by Capability Brown, with views to the Chiltern Hills. During the Second World War the park was used as a ‘victory garden’. In 1971, the house was bought by Christopher Buxton and it remains the Buxton family home.

The house underwent a major redecoration in 2018 and the elegance and beauty of The Classical Era has been restored.

The tour features the State Rooms on the first floor and a tour of the beautiful grounds and garden.
