Getting here

Kingswood House, Seeley Drive, Dulwich, SE21 8QN

To arrive by train, Sydenham Hill train station is very close by and has a regular service from Victoria. Gipsy Hill Station is also just a 15min walk away.

To arrive by bus the area is serviced by the 450 bus from West Croydon to Bell Green. Get off at Kingswood Drive.

To arrive by overground, the closest station is Sydenham and you then take the 450 bus towards Crystal Palace and get off at Kingswood Drive.

You can then walk through the old gates and find Kingswood Arts in the centre of the estate.

If you are planning to drive, there is very limited parking on site here at Kingswood Arts and the estate is normally very full with cars so we do recommend finding other means of getting here or parking off the estate and walking in.

If you have access requirements and require the use of a parking space please email info@kingswoodarts.com ahead of the event.

Please note, a ‘schools street’ is in operation around the Kingswood Estate from 8-9:30am and 2:30-4pm from Mondays to Friday. You can’t drive on the estate during these hours. Please plan your visit accordingly. Alternative parking is available on Kingswood Drive.

There is cycle parking for those arriving by bike.

The ground floor is wheelchair accessible with the use of a ramp. Accessing the upper floors does require using steps and sadly at this point there is no lift.

What an amazing hidden treasure.... Kingswood House is such an amazing house, with 200 years of history, including lawyers, princes and famous inventors. The hosts that led the tours were very friendly and knew their stuff. A lot of the original features still exist, and the tour guides had great stories and tales about the owners that shaped the building though the years, I would highly recommend a tour, and if you ever get the chance it's a great venue for parties, weddings, or just even having a coffee in the old morning room, which had been beautifully turned into a bespoke cafe.

Kingswood Arts

I found the tour of the house fascinating. It was really interesting to learn about its history and to see how it has been so well restored by Kingswood Arts. Having been underused for too long, I am delighted that the venue can now offer a worthwhile and entertaining variety of projects which benefit both the local community and visitors from further afield.
