The Courtyard at Kentchurch – our new project

Originally built as the coach houses and tack rooms, these historic buildings later housed the engine and generators that powered Kentchurch Court during the Edwardian period. We are delighted to be bringing new life to this special space by creating a versatile venue for events and corporate gatherings of all kinds, while continuing to offer our much‑loved tearoom, renowned for summer teas and homemade cakes. All being well, we look forward to opening in August 2026.

The Coach House will comfortably seat over 35 guests or 50 standing, while the Engine Room offers a flexible space suitable for ceremonies, a dance floor or meetings. The Generator Room will house newly installed, DDA‑compliant WCs. Beyond the buildings themselves, our 25 acres of gardens can also form part of your event, providing a truly unique setting.

Rosie, who grew up in the Court, is our events coordinator and will be delighted to guide you through every step of the planning process, helping to shape your ideas and ensure your occasion is truly memorable.

This exciting new venue will complement the existing accommodation at the Court and our Lodges, while welcoming new visitors to our village of Kentchurch and the surrounding area. For any enquiries, please do get in touch.
