The tour covers all the main rooms within the house, including the 14th century tower with Owain Glyndwr’s bedroom, the impressive main hall and chapel with its striking stainedglass window, as well as the front rooms designed by Anthony Keck and John Nash with their unrivalled collection of Grinling Gibbons wood carvings, antique furniture and many portraits. Rosie also discusses the deer park with its medieval origins and 19th century Picturesque landscape design that includes associations with renowned garden influencer Uvedale Price. Tours last 1.5 hours and cost £15 per person (minimum 5 people).
