Hardwicke Court is a late Georgian house designed by Robert Smirke. It has been home to the Lloyd-Baker family since it was built by Thomas Lloyd-Baker in 1812. The current family are the 7th and 8th generation to live in the house. Many fine portraits and items of furniture are housed in the public rooms of the house.
