Benjamin Franklin House at 36 Craven Street is the world’s only remaining home of the founding father. For nearly sixteen years between 1757 and 1775, Dr Benjamin Franklin – scientist, diplomat, philosopher, inventor, and Founding Father of the United States – lived behind these doors.

Built circa 1730, today it is a dynamic museum and educational facility. The various rooms in the house and courtyard play host to a wide range of small events from memorable receptions, lectures, meetings, photoshoots, filming projects, product launches to private dinners in our exquisite eighteenth-century setting!

The House is available for evening hire and daytime hire.
Please phone 0207 839 2006 or email [email protected] to discuss your event and to arrange a free site visit.
