Allerton Castle is one of England’s most elegant and illustrious gothic revival stately homes.

Allerton Castle is a beautifully preserved relic of the early modern aristocracy and a stunning venue for weddings and events as well as a dramatic TV and film location.

Built by the premier Baron of England, Lord Mowbray, Segrave and Stourton in the 1840s, this stately home is steeped in history.

Enter into its time capsule for an insight into by-gone eras, and be enchanted by the ambiance of a castle once owned by Prince Frederick (the ‘Grand Old Duke of York’ and brother to King George IV) in the 18th century.

The Estate is open to the public from March until the end of October for open days and guided tours and is available year-round to hire for your special day or private event.
