Historic Houses Northern Ireland gift to Donaghadee RNLI
This year’s Historic Houses Northern Ireland AGM was held at Ballywalter Park at the end of August. The meeting was a great success and was well attended by house members from across the province.
A collection on the day raised £350 for the RNLI. Lord Dunleath, our host at Ballywalter, is pictured here presenting the cheque to Evelyn Bennett of Donaghadee RNLI.
Situated on the north-east coast of County Down, Donaghadee has had a lifeboat station since 1910 and the crews have been presented with three awards for gallantry.
We are grateful to all members who contributed to the gift, and to Donaghadee RNLI for all the work that they do.
