Medieval Jousting Returns to Knebworth Park This Father’s Day

This Father’s Day, Sunday 21^st June, Knebworth House invites families to experience the thrill of medieval England as the spectacular jousting show by the Knights of Middle England rides into Knebworth Park.

Step back in time and witness an awe-inspiring display of skill, courage and chivalry as fully armoured knights charge across the arena. Watch as lances strike shields in dramatic clashes, with each competitor battling to be crowned champion in this exhilarating display.

Set against the striking turrets and towers of Knebworth House, the event promises a truly atmospheric day out. Majestic warhorses thunder across the grass while costumed knights demonstrate exceptional horsemanship in two scheduled jousts at 12:00pm and 2:30pm (weather permitting).

Visitors are encouraged to make a day of it. Bring a picnic blanket, relax in the beautiful parkland, and enjoy the tournament in a stunning historic setting.

Beyond the main event, guests can try their hand at traditional medieval activities, including have-a-go archery. For just £3, participants can test their aim with six arrows and channel their inner archer.

With colourful banners, heart-pounding action, and daring stunts, Medieval Jousting at Knebworth Park promises an unforgettable day out for all ages.

Event tickets also include access to Knebworth Gardens, Park, Dinosaur Trail, and Adventure Playground, offering even more to explore throughout the day.

Tickets start from £15.50 per person, with family tickets (up to four people) available from £58. Children under three go free. Visitors are encouraged to book in advance online to receive a discounted rate. Full-price tickets will be available on the day. Entry is free for Season Ticket holders.
