An 800 year old house that has never been officially open to public access before.

Remains of Wigmore Abbey – built in 1198. Walls and part of transept still stands.
House comprises of abbot’s parlour, Cellerers room,
and a rare timbered undercroft. Medieval upper rooms and additions.
Outside is the outer gatehouse, and inner gatehouse and barn with archway entrance.
Founded by the Mortimer family, and has Royal connections with possibly two Kings having visited or stayed.
