Upton Wold is known as the hidden garden of the Cotswolds.
Set in a beautiful Cotswold landscape, this hidden private garden has been created over thirty years, originally with the help of landscape architects Hal Moggridge and the late Brenda Colvin.
Upton Wold Garden has an exceptional collection of trees, shrubs and plants, and also holds a National Collection of Juglans (Walnut) and of Pterocarya.
A garden of interest for any plantsman.
Opening Times
Snowdrop Walking
Enjoy the garden during the snowdrop season from 7 February to 8 March 2026. The garden is open daily from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
General Garden Access
From 1 April to 28 August 2026, the garden is open every Wednesday from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. No appointment is required.
£15 per person, garden only.
Historic Houses members visit for free when showing card.
No pre-booked time slot necessary on Wednesdays.
Entry is £15.00 and groups are most welcome. There is plenty of free parking.
Refreshments and light summer lunches are also available by arrangement.
