Parking
Drop off zone for disabled passengers and limited blue badge holder spaces are available in the Stableyard car park, close to the Mansion and Gardens. Blue badge holder spaces are available in the main car park with level tarmac/flagstone access to Stableyard (200m). Blue badge parking is available close to the Farm and Old Hall (by prior arrangement). Provision is made for nearest available areas for large parkland events/shows.

Additional Information
There are accessible toilets available in the Stableyard and at Knutsford Entrance. Toilets are also available at the Old Hall and Farm during attraction opening times. There is tarmac access at the Stableyard and a paved approach path to the toilets at the Farm.

Electric buggies (Gardens only) and manual wheelchairs are available for loan when visiting our attractions.

Assistance dogs are allowed in all areas of the estate both inside and outside.

Tatton Park is a historic estate in Cheshire, offering a variety of attractions and events throughout the year. Below is a detailed summary of the opening times and conditions for each attraction and event:

General Parkland Information

The parkland spans 1,000 acres and is open for exploration. Visitors are advised to maintain a distance of at least 50 meters from the deer, especially during the rutting season (September to November). Dogs are welcome but must be kept on leads during specific periods.

Attractions and Their Opening Times

  • Parkland: Open Tuesday to Sunday, 10am to 5pm (last entry 4pm) during low season (27 October 2025 - 27 March 2026). Open daily, 10am to 7pm (last entry 6pm) during high season (28 March 2026 - 25 October 2026).
  • Gardens: Open Tuesday to Sunday, 10am to 4pm (last entry 3pm) during low season. Open daily, 10am to 6pm (last entry 5pm) during high season.
  • Farm: Open weekends only, 11am to 4pm (last entry 3pm) during low season. Open Tuesday to Sunday, 11am to 4pm (last entry 3pm) during high season.
  • Mansion: Closed for conservation during low season. Open Wednesday to Sunday, 12:30pm to 4:30pm (last entry 3:30pm) during high season.
  • Old Hall: Open for special events and group bookings. Specific dates to be announced.

Special Events

  • Free Garden Entry: Available Tuesday to Friday from 1 January to 13 February 2026.
  • Scarecrow Sports Day Festival: Runs from 14 February to 1 March 2026 (closed Mondays).
