Strawberry Hill House is a dazzling Gothic Revival villa created by Horace Walpole in the 18th century. Described as “a very proper habitation for the author of The Castle of Otranto,” the house is famous for its theatrical interiors, Renaissance painted glass, and elaborate fan vaulting.
Visitors can explore the house at their own pace, with changing exhibitions, family trails, and special events throughout the year. The five-acre garden — inspired by the English Landscape Movement — has been restored using Walpole’s own plans and offers a peaceful retreat. A shop and café complete the visitor experience.
Important information: opening info is generated by artificial intelligence; check specific attraction details before travelling.

That could be the park, a shop, or a special event, and may not reflect regular admission times to the main attraction.
