Free parking close to the Café and Farm Shop as well as across the road for the Woodyard garden, gift and home store.

A mixture of gravel and cut grass all suitable for wheelchair users.
House
All rooms are accessible except the chapel which has two steps.
There is a lift in the House which takes visitors to the first floor.
The lift can accommodate most hand pushed wheelchairs.
There is seating available in most rooms of the House for visitors.
Wheelchairs
There are two manual wheelchairs which can be borrowed when on site. It is advisable to book them in advance.

We have accessible WC’s as well as a baby change.
Assistance Dogs
Assistance dogs are welcome in all public areas of the Sledmere House site. There are water bowls provided at the cafe for assistance dogs.
There are a wide variety of locations suitable for filming and photography at Sledmere both around the House, gardens, grounds and on the wider Estate. It is a prerequisite that written permission must be sought in advance of any filming or photography at Sledmere. Please contact the Estate Office for our guidelines and to discuss your specific requirements. A location fee will be applicable.
