Winter 2025 Opening Times
- Gardens: Open from 1st November to 21st December, Wednesday to Sunday, 10am to 4pm (last entry at 3pm). The Coffee Shop and Food Shop close at 3:30pm. Admission is free, but a suggested donation of £5 is encouraged to support garden maintenance.
- Palace: Closed from 1st November, reopening on 1st April 2026.
January 2026
- Palace and Gardens: Closed for the entire month.
Spring 2026 Opening Times
- Gardens: Open from 1st February to 31st March, Wednesday to Sunday, 10am to 4pm (last entry at 3pm). A £5 parking fee applies, but there is no charge for members. The Coffee Shop and Food Shop close at 3:30pm.
Summer 2026 Opening Times
- Palace and Gardens: Open daily from 1st April to 31st October, 10am to 5:30pm (last entry at 4pm). The Food Shop, Gift Shop, and Coffee Shop close at 4:30pm.
Tickets can be purchased at the gate, but pre-booking is recommended. Various ticket options are available, including season tickets, garden admissions, and memberships.

We are delighted to welcome coach tours, group bookings and school groups. Pre-booking is advisable to ensure you make the most of your visit and we ask that parties of 50+ people be pre-booked at all times.
We recommend that you allow at least 2.5 hours for your visit to Scone Palace, especially if the weather is suitable for a tour of our beautiful Perthshire grounds, longer if your group would like to dine with us.
Coach drivers and couriers are given complimentary entrance and will receive a meal and gift voucher for use in our catering and retail outlets.
