The only country house and garden open to the public on the Isle of Man.
The house we see today has the Gothic facade put on by Deemster John Christian in the 1830s around an earlier Georgian core. It is by repute the most haunted house on the Island.
The 15 acres of gardens provide for a relaxing stroll, around both the formal gardens, the mill pond, the vegetable garden and into the woodland area.
Also on view is Sir Clive Edwards collection of vintage motorbikes and cars. The Milntown Cafe enjoys a reputation for serving the best cream teas on the Island.
We also have three stunning self-catering apartments on site each sleeping up to four people.

Excellent garden—lovely cafe.
