Hodnet Hall Gardens offers a unique experience of historic gardens and parkland, open to visitors during the 2026 season. The gardens feature a variety of rare and native species, historic structures, and scenic walkways.
Opening Times
The gardens are open from March 15th to October 30th, 2026, on the following days:
- Sundays
- Wednesdays
- Fridays
- Bank Holiday Mondays
Opening hours are from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Access Information
Due to the historic nature of the gardens, some areas may be challenging for visitors with limited mobility or those using wheelchairs. Dogs are welcome but must be kept on leads.
Tickets and Pricing
- 2026 Season Ticket: £50.00. This ticket allows unlimited access during the open season for the named individual. Up to three children under 16 can enter for free when accompanied by the ticket holder. Season tickets are not valid on the National Garden Scheme Open Day.
- Gift Voucher: £11.70.
- Group Bookings: Starting from £100.00. Exclusive access for large groups can be arranged outside normal hours.
Special Events
- Summer Plant Fair 2025: Scheduled for Saturday, June 7th, and Sunday, June 8th, 2025.
- National Garden Scheme Open Day: Scheduled for July 6th, 2025. Proceeds go to charity.
Additional Information
Joint entry tickets for Hodnet Hall and Dorothy Clive Gardens are available for pre-booked groups of 20 or more. Contact the respective offices for details.
Visitors can purchase tickets online or pay at the door using cash, card, or contactless payment methods.
Historic Houses members visit for free except on Plant Fair Days/National Garden Scheme days. Pre-booking is not required, just turn up on the day.
