Hodnet Hall Gardens offers a unique experience of historic gardens and parkland, spanning 60 acres. Visitors can enjoy a variety of features, including rare and native plant species, a 17th-century dovecot, a Tithe Barn, waterfalls, and walkways. The gardens are open to the public during the following times:
- Opening Days: Sundays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Bank Holiday Mondays.
- Opening Hours: 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Season: From March 15th to October 30th, 2026.
Visitors should note that due to the historic nature of the gardens, some areas may be less accessible for wheelchair users or those with limited mobility. Dogs are welcome but must be kept on leads.
Admission Prices
- E-Tickets: £11.70 per person.
- Season Tickets: £50.00 per named individual, valid for the 2026 season (March to October). Season tickets allow free entry for up to three children under 16 when accompanied by the named ticket holder. Season tickets are not valid on National Garden Scheme Open Day.
- Group Bookings: Starting from £100.00, with exclusive access available upon request.
Special Events
- Summer Plant Fair 2025: Scheduled for Saturday, June 7th, and Sunday, June 8th, 2025.
- National Garden Scheme Open Day: Taking place on July 6th, 2025, supporting Hospice UK and other charities.
Exclusive access to the gardens can be arranged for large groups outside normal opening hours, with refreshments available upon request. Additionally, joint entry tickets for Hodnet Hall and Dorothy Clive Gardens are available for pre-booked parties of 20 or more.
Historic Houses members visit for free except on Plant Fair Days/National Garden Scheme days. Pre-booking is not required, just turn up on the day.
