Hodnet Hall Gardens offers a unique experience of historic gardens and parkland, open to the public during specific times of the year. Below are the detailed opening times and conditions for the 2026 season:
General Opening Times
The gardens are open from March 15th to October 30th, 2026, on the following days:
- Sundays
- Wednesdays
- Fridays
- Bank Holiday Mondays
Opening hours are from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Note: Due to the historic nature of the gardens, some areas may be less accessible for visitors with mobility challenges. Dogs are welcome but must be kept on leads.
Admission Prices
- General Admission - Adult: £10.00
- General Admission - Children (5-15 years): £1.00 (Children under 5 are free)
- 2026 Season Ticket: £50.00 (Includes free entry for up to three children under 16 when accompanied by the ticket holder. Not valid on National Garden Scheme Open Day)
- Summer Plant Fair Day: £6.00 (Children go free)

Group Bookings
Exclusive access for large groups can be arranged outside normal opening hours. Refreshments are available upon request. Contact the secretary for more details.
Additional Information
Season tickets are non-transferable and require ID for entry. Digital tickets can be purchased online, and cash, card, and contactless payments are accepted at the door.
Historic Houses members visit for free except on Plant Fair Days/National Garden Scheme days. Pre-booking is not required, just turn up on the day.
