What could be better than exploring a beautiful Scottish Castle? Built by architect William Adam in 1721, Floors Castle is Scotland’s largest inhabited Castle and home to the 11th Duke of Roxburghe.
An architectural masterpiece inside and out, the Castle houses a marvellous collection of fine art and porcelain for you to enjoy, including paintings by Matisse and our famous Belgian tapestries.
The Gardens are a delight to explore with fine herbaceous borders, fruit trees and meandering paths. The Walled Garden is a showpiece of seasonal colour and interest. A summer house built in 1867 for Queen Victoria’s visit sits overlooking the Millennium Garden.
You can also explore the wonderful surroundings by foot or bicycle when you try our woodland walks and cycle trail. Enjoy magnificent views of the Castle, parkland and countryside flanked by the River Tweed.
Shop for local goods and gifts and eat at one of our fine cafes offering delights from the Castle’s kitchen.
