Located in the peaceful surroundings of the Herefordshire countryside and sitting at the foot of the beautiful and historic Malvern Hills, Eastnor Castle sits in 100 acres of grounds and is surrounded by a 5,000 acre estate.

See the magnificent State rooms as you are immersed in the fascinating world of Eastnor and its family.

In the grounds you will find an arboretum containing the finest collection of Cedars in Britain with tree trails and rope swings. There are several play areas and an established yew maze which was planted in 1994.

Eastnor Castle fulfils other roles as an exclusive-use wedding venue, corporate team building venue, and private party venue, as well as a venue for product launches and location filming.

Dogs are very welcome, both inside the house and around the grounds.

Eastnor Castle is a historic attraction located in Herefordshire, open to visitors on selected dates from Easter until the end of September. The castle offers a variety of activities and events for all ages, including exploring the castle's state rooms, enjoying the grounds, and participating in seasonal events.

  • Sunday 6th to Monday 28th September: Open Sunday & Monday

Admission Prices:

  • Grounds Only: Adult £11.50, Child £7.50, Family (2 adults + 3 children) £34.00, Family (1 adult + 3 children) £23.00
  • Castle & Grounds: Adult £15.50, Child £9.50, Family (2 adults + 3 children) £45.00, Family (1 adult + 3 children) £30.00

Discounts are available for members of Historic Houses, English Heritage, and Blue Peter Badge holders, with specific conditions and exclusions. The site is cashless, and tickets are recommended to be booked online in advance.

Eastnor Castle is dog-friendly, allowing dogs in the grounds and inside the castle. Accessibility features include wheelchair access to the main state rooms and a stair climber for the entrance steps. However, access to the first floor is limited on busy days such as Bank Holidays.

Visitors can enjoy various attractions such as the Knight's Maze, arboretum, lake, and adventure playground. Seasonal events and activities are included in the admission price, except for Deer Park events.

Historic Houses members visit for free (not valid for Eastnor ChilliFest)

Members should book their tickets online via the Eastnor Castle website. Scroll down to find the ‘Historic House Member’ ticket options and add required tickets to the basket. During the checkout process, HH members will be asked to input their HH card number(s) which will then be checked on arrival at Eastnor.

Group tours, school groups and coach tours are most welcome at Eastnor Castle.

See the magnificent State rooms and luxurious bedrooms as you are immersed in the fascinating world of Eastnor and its family. You will enjoy the stunning Drawing Room, decorated to the designs of AW Pugin, the fascinating Long Library and imagine relaxing over billiards in the Little Library. Your tour will take you around a selection of Eastnor’s luxurious and award winning bedrooms.

Eastnor Castle offers pre-booked tours of the castle with their experienced guides.

Educational Visits

We very much welcome schools to Eastnor Castle and are committed to providing visiting schools and educational groups with an engaging learning experience, allowing visiting children to explore the castle and grounds in a relaxed and exciting way.

We have recently been awarded a Learning Outside the Classroom Quality Badge.

All tours of Eastnor Castle are tailored entirely to the visiting groups requirements, allowing group leaders to build into a tour subjects and themes which complement their classroom study.

Eastnor Castle has easy access to junction 2 of the M50 and nearby M5 junction 8. There is a mainline train station, Ledbury, just 3 miles away.

A taxi will need to be pre booked to take you from the station to the castle.
