A Spooktacular Halloween Adventure Awaits at Knebworth Gardens

This October, Knebworth Gardens invites families to embrace the magic of the season with a spellbinding Halloween Adventure. A delightful event designed especially for young visitors aged 3–10. Dust off your broomsticks, don your witch’s hats and grab your magic wands for a morning of Halloween-themed fun in the beautiful historic gardens of Knebworth House.
Garden Activities & Pumpkin Passport
Children can enjoy a range of engaging games and activities throughout the gardens, including:
- Hungry Ghosts
- Hook a Pumpkin
- Pumpkin Putting
- What’s in the Box?
As each activity is completed, young adventurers will earn stamps on their Pumpkin Passport, which can be redeemed for a special prize at the end of the session. Plus, the much-loved Terror Tunnel returns for another year of spooky fun.
Garden Terrace Tea Room
Take a break and indulge in autumnal refreshments at the Garden Terrace Tea Room, serving a variety of seasonal soups, sandwiches, and Halloween-themed sweet treats. Pre-booked children’s Halloween lunch boxes are also available.
Pumpkin Carving Competition
Bring your own pre-carved pumpkin and place it in our special Pumpkin Parking area upon arrival. Judging will take place 30 minutes before the session ends, and while we encourage creativity, don’t forget to take your pumpkin home afterwards!
Dress to Impress
Fancy dress is highly encouraged for all ages. Come as your favourite spooky character and join in the festive spirit!
Important Information
Tickets include access to Knebworth Gardens and the Dinosaur Trail.
The Adventure Playground, Park, and Knebworth House will not be open during this event.
A prize is included for every paying child, available for collection at the Gift Shop.
