Built between 1900-1902, the Hall is recognised as a significant example of domestic architecture, featuring striking design and handcrafted details. It was so acclaimed that it featured in German architect Herman Muthesius’s book ‘Das Englische Haus’ (1904).

There are three outstanding Edgar Wood fireplaces; oak panelling; original Arts & Crafts built-in library; vaulted ceilings; oak carvings; stained glass; oak beam ceilings and exposed roof beams.

Enjoy a guided tour through the formal rooms with the owners, followed by tea, coffee and light refreshments on the terrace, weather permitting, otherwise in the dining room.

Really enjoyed the most interesting and comprehensive tour of the Hall, and the excellent afternoon tea which followed. A rare chance to see such an interior of that period – highly recommended.
