The oldest parts of the Manor were built in 1377 by the Gawen family.

Tours can be arranged by writing direct to the owners and include all of the older parts of the house which include the porch, main big hall and undercroft which have some outstanding stonework dating back to the original construction. Allow an hour for a guided tour.

We do not charge for guided tours but encourage any visitors to then visit St.Mary’s Church in Alvediston, where Sir Anthony Eden is buried, and hopefully make a donation towards an ongoing appeal to renovate the tower.
