Most of the interiors of the Hall were designed by Joseph Bonomi, including the Pompeian Room originally designed to house the 4th Earl of Aylesford’s Etruscan vase collection.

The Pleasure Grounds and landscaping surrounding the house were designed by ‘Capability’ Brown and today include a Japanese bridge, a rose garden and a newly restored walled garden.

Guided tour of the ground floor of the house and the gardens by owner Georgie Guernsey (garden tours may occasionally be taken by head gardener, Danni Hudson).
